We would have preffered a lower room with a shower due to my condition but did manage the stairs.

We loved the decor of the room, the comfortable bed and luxurious towels. It was a pleasure to return to a clean, tidy room with replenished tea tray. The breakfast was delicious and fresh.
Dislikes:
Some noise from adjacent room and room above.

A really calm and restful enviroment. Justa short and pleasant walk to all that York has to offer. Would certainly return.
Dislikes:
Not notified about the number of stairs at Crook Lodge. one of the party has mild mobility problems.For same reason could have done with a shower.

The location was very convenient and quiet. The staff was fabulous and very helpful. The diningroom was comfortable and the breakfast was lovely, perfect energy for a day full of exploring York.

Crook Lodge is ideally located only 10min walk into York centre. We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived.The en-suite room was very comfortable and clean.
The breakfast is excellent!!

Breakfasts and service faultless, facilities spotlessly clean, in a really cosy breakfast room. Lovely bed.
Dislikes:
Duvet was too thick and hot for us, in spite of heating off and window open.
