Really lovely people was running late to a wedding and didn't have time to eat so they made us a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea quickly at no extra cost then when I asked if they could book me a taxi to the venue they offered us a lift up in their own car. The room was very nice and immaculately clean fresh towels and bedding.
Breakfast the morning after was lovely with a selection of things to have, I would definitely stay there again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Read less

Bridgend Farm is a beautifully appointed historic, stone farmhouse originally built in part in 17th century with later Georgian and Victorian additions.

Wooler is situated at the foot of the Cheviot Hills, and is set within stunning surroundings. You will be spoilt for choice whatever the weather - fabulous beaches at Bamburgh, stunning landscapes and castles are awaiting you. Wooler is a quaint unspoilt, historic market town with some lovely unique shops within walking distance of Bridgend Farm, and enjoys close proximity to beautiful riverside walks along the riverbank and parks. A short drive takes you to Alnwick with its castle and gardens, as well as the famous Cragside Estate built by Lord Armstrong.

The imposing pillared entrance portico leads into an elegant entrance hall.

The accommodation boasts a spacious guest lounge with an array seating with large TV and multi fuel stove.

Fully Licensed Bar offering fine Wines, Champagnes and other Alcoholic Drinks

The Dining room & Bar is a bright spacious room overlooking the large lawned gardens and is tastefully decorated with a large open fire.

There are four en-suite guest bedrooms all beautifully decorated and individually designed to reflect the period, and which include all modern fixtures for your comfort. There are large HD LCD TVs, also tea and coffee making facilities.

We also offer a self-catering two bedroom Cottage, Bridgend Bothy, attached to the main farmhouse, the Bothy dates back to the early 1600’s and has independent and private access. Fully refurbished to an excellent standard the character and charm of this historic property has been retained but now also enjoys the convenience of contemporary living.
