Just off the main road, which had good bus links to Edinburgh and surroundings. The owner was very supportive, helpful and informative. He went the "extra mile" to help in any way he was asked.

Can't smoke inside room but that is the UK for you

The guest house is quietly located in a side street. The city center is a 15min walk away (alternatively: bus, Taxi/Uber). The owner and the people in general are friendly, flexible and helpful.
Dislikes:
It is getting dark early; seems hard to change :)
