Pulteney House is a large, privately owned Victorian house set in its own beautiful gardens. Only a short walk away from the city centre, providing excellent access to all the local attractions. It is situated on the A36, so easy to find, but there is a railway line running behind the house. Although it can be quite noisey during the day, most guests are not disturbed by this.

Right from the very first contact with a member of the management courtesy is "oozing". I was helped/guided to park my car and an item of luggage was taken off me to make me more comfortable.

The large, privately owned Victorian house is set in its own beautiful gardens, offering a uniquely tranquil environment in the very heart of Bath. It is ideally situated in a tree-lined avenue just a short walk from Bath city centre, giving easy and convenient access to the very best restaurants in Bath.
All entertainments are close at hand, and the city centre is just a short, enjoyable stroll away, 5 – 10 minutes level walk. The Bath Thermae Spa, The Roman Baths and many more tourist attractions in Bath are very close.
Pulteney House’s rooms are all centrally heated and tastefully decorated to a very high standard to ensure your stay with us is a pleasant one. All are en-suite except one. Free Wi-Fi is available in almost all rooms and there is a computer for guests' use in the sitting room for those who do have their own laptops. Our large secure car park is monitored by CCTV.
The large, mature gardens are always kept in beautiful condition and guests are encouraged to utilise them to the full. Children can play in absolute safety.
We aim to recycle as much waste as possible. All glass bottles, plastic containers, cardboard, paper and tin cans are recycled to do our share of looking after our environment.
