Ramon welcomed us warmly, made a quick adjustment to our reservation (since we inadvertently reserved a room with a shared bath; he let us see that room and another he had with a private bath ("ensuite") to choose. We did take the ensuite room, at the front of the house on the second floor, with large windows front and side. Beautiful armoire in the room plus other cupboards for storage. Had breakfast in the morning, all delicous! Read less

Breakfast was fast and happily served; the dining room is small but not crowded; the location, just off the main road, was just a short walk from the center of town.

I stayed with my partner o/n at this delightful little B&B tucked just behind Morrisons. The landlady was very helpful- she had upgraded our room free of charge and the room itself was charming, clean and comfortable. Very good value for money and will definitely return. Have stayed in many B&Bs in Glastonbury- this fits the bill for reasonable price, comfort and no nonsense stay. We had hoped to eat at the highly recommended spanish restaurant - but sadly was shut not possible that night Read less

Breakfast was lovely- usual B&B fare of yoghuts and cereals, but the cooked breakfast was great. Fried breakfast that isn't greasy is hard to come by!
Kindly let us leave our car for the day too.
Dislikes:
We would have preferred a larger bed, but thats because we are large people. Not the fault of the B&B.

No.1 Park Terrace is a 3 star AA rated family run bed and breakfast with a small licensed restaurant, occupying a spacious Victorian house in the ancient market town of Glastonbury. The property is situated close to the town centre with a mixture of shops lining its streets, plus it is within easy walking distance of Glastonbury Abbey ruins.
Owners, Ramon and Joanna, have opened their licensed dining room to serve evening meals. Ramon takes great pride in his freshly prepared evening meals which combines local produce wherever possible with his unique Spanish style. The menu is varied and changes weekly.We have been rated as 5 stars for food and hygiene inspection from the Environmental Health agency and Local Council. No 1 Park Terrace is also well placed for visiting the Glastonbury Tor, Glastonbury Abbey, Chalice Well, Clarks village and the Wells Cathedral. It is also an ideal base for exploring the beautifully varied Somerset countryside on foot, by bicycle, public transport or with a leisurely drive.
Cheddar Caves & Gorge, Longleat House, plus a number of vineyards and gardens are also easily accessible. E-mail and internet facilities can be provided, wireless connection is available for personal laptop access to the internet. Ample car parking space to the rear of the property. We are also close to a bus-stop for local public transport connections.
