"Excellent Hotel for a Short Break"
This was a last minute booking for a few days break. Unfortunately the new pier had still not opened which was a shame and the promenade improvements are still ongoing but all is taking shape and will greatly improve the town. Our break coincided with Heli Days and a Real Ale Festival. We also visited Cheddar Gorge and Clarks Village. There needs to be some injection of decent restaurants and live music venues for the older generation as after 9.00pm Weston-Super-Mare is a ghost town. Read less

Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Phil and Wendy Deverill are excellent hosts and made us very welcome, nothing was too much trouble for them. Would happily stay again.
Dislikes:
The only downside was limited parking and distance from town centre.

Wendy & Phil welcome you to Linden Lodge, a 4 star, AA rated late Victorian stone built town house, fully refurbished with all modern amenities. For a finishing touch, we can provide a bottle of Champagne, a bouquet of flowers and Belgian chocolates at an added cost.
Ideally situated, the Guest House is only 200 yards from beach, and 10 minutes walk to the town centre with its shops and restaurants. The train station is only a 5 minute walk away. If travelling further afield, we are conveniently located close to two junctions on the M5.
Driving we are only half an hour from Cheddar Gorge, The Mendips, and Wookey Hole, and 40 minutes from Bristol. Limited private parking available.
