Ayrshire also hosts over 40 golf courses, including the famous Open Championship courses at Turnberry, Old Prestwick and Royal Troon and quality municipal courses such as Belleisle and Lochgreen.
Bowlers who wish to watch or participate in the many championship bowling tournaments that take place at Scotland's National Bowling Centre at Ayr Northfield will enjoy being so close with less than a 5 minute drive from Craigie Guest House.
Ayr is famous for being the birthplace of the renowned poet Robert Burns and the Burn's cottage & Museum is a popular tourist attraction. Culzean Castle owned by the National Trust for Scotland is only a 20 minute drive down the beautiful Ayrshire countryside.
Ayr Town & the surrounding countryside has so much to offer so why not stop over for a few days, there is plenty to do and see for all ages. We shall look forward to extending a warm welcome to all those visiting Craigie Guest House.
