booking process extremely efficient. It was a fantastic surprise when I walked into the hall of the house and then our apartment as didn't realy think the website did it justice!
Dislikes:
Could benefit from having more pillows/linen as standard and the wardrobes could be of better quality and as we were 2 couples an extra set of keys would of been beneficial.

Welcome to Ellison Hall. Acquired by the Ellison family, merchant adventurers of Newcastle, Ellison Hall (also known as Hebburn Hall) is a 17th-century stately mansion. Robert Ellison, Sheriff and Member of Parliament for Newcastle, and his descendant Henry Ellison added their own personal twists to the manor to make it the grand building that stands today. With time, the building fell out of use as a residence and has since been used as a church, an infirmary and even a masonic temple.
Recently, the building has been roused from its slumber and restored to its former glory; incorporating seven large apartments. Combining a modern style with the buildings Grade II listed features; every spacious apartment is designed and furnished to the highest standards with impeccable taste. Fully fitted kitchens and large living areas with all mod-cons, including free Wi-Fi internet access, are as standard. Private off-street parking is available at no extra charge. The building also benefits from its own private, communal garden area.
The apartments are all available on a nightly basis, with no minimum stay, making them ideal for both corporate clients and visitors to the region who prefer that little bit more.
