Staff were helpful, nice that there is someone working at all hours. The car park was useful too.

The room and all facilities were very clean and warm.
Dislikes:
It is quite a long uphill walk from the station, although the hotel is described as being close to the city centre. There are buses and the downhill walk (without luggage) to the centre is not bad.

Newcastle and Gateshead have something to offer every visitor with many cultural and historic attractions, museums, shops and world famous nightlife. Stunning architecture to be seen includes Gateshead Millenium Bridge, the Angel of the North and the Grade II listed buildings of Newcastle's Grainger Town. Shoppers should visit Eldon Square in Newcastle or Gateshead's MetroCentre.
The guesthouse is well placed for those visiting Newcastle University or the Freemans Hospital.
