Annie's Guest House is a family-run bed and breakfast offering relaxed and friendly accommodation in clean, comfortable rooms at very competitive rates.
All our rooms are non-smoking, cleaned daily with comfortable memory-foam mattresses on every bed, double-glazed opening windows complete with black-out roller blinds, individual temperature controls, study desk with lamp, large flat-screen digital TV's with extra Freeview channels, free wireless internet access, alarm clock, tea/coffee, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, complimentary toiletries, shave point and big soft 'bath sheet' size towels. Use of guest fridge and microwave. Same-day laundry service available (extra charge), 24/7 access - no curfew or lockouts.
We are ideally situated just a short walk from local parks, beaches, shops, restaurants, nightlife and transport links (bus, ferry and Metro train) as well as being just a few minutes drive to the A1, A19 and Tyne Tunnel. Newcastle International is our nearest Airport and can be reached via the Tyne and Wear Metro train service - £2.90 or £3.90 for a return ticket.
Free parking is available and we are just a few minutes walk from the Tyne & Wear Metro (train), South Shields bus station and the South Shields ferry terminal. Arriving by bike? We are just one hundred yards from a National Cycle Route and we offer free on site overnight cycle and motorcycle parking.
We serve a full English breakfast (freshly cooked to order) from 6.30am seven days a week and guests are offered the use of a fridge and microwave in Annie's dining room. Special diets (gluten/wheat-free, milk-free, Vegan, Vegetarian etc.) catered for.
Sorry, we do not offer any accommodation to pets or all male/all female Stag/Hen-type groups (maximum four persons per booking, if in doubt please ask before booking).
