Once a Gentleman's residence, built in Victorian Times, our guesthouse was converted in the early 1970's. Combining a mixture of single, double, twin and family rooms. Our guests are treated to a home from home atmosphere during their stay to ensure the stresses and strains of everyday life are the last thing you think of on holiday.
At the Braemar we offer Bed and Breakfast. Guests have the option of choosing their own eatery in the evening, from the many that are located close by in the Old Village or Shanklin Town. Our cosy dining room also plays host to our superb English Breakfast, which makes sure you are set up for a busy day.The Braemar is located in Shanklin Old Village, the oldest part of the town, with quaint thatched cottages, excellent, pubs, restaurants, shops and the spectacular Shanklin Chine, which is a deep gorge, cut out of the rock to form a beautiful valley leading down to the sea.
We are within a 5 minute walk of the town centre but in the summer months the train is available from the end of the road to take you down to the esplanade or into the town centre
