Water pressure in the Shower was extremely low.
Many narrow stairs
Response from Moorfield House Hotel:
Hi, the water pressure in the shower being low is due to there being very little rain in this area for almost 3 months. Braemar does not have traditional mains water, it is pumped from a water treatment station at the top of the hill, as a result the lack of rain has resulted in lower than normal water pressure, something we are powerless to address. Im also not sure what you mean by "many" narrow stairs, you were in room 1 which is at the top of 1 flight of standard width straight up stairs

In Scotland, the bar is often at the heart of the community. So it is at the Moorfield House Hotel. Whether you are just dropping in for a quiet drink after an energetic day walking in the hills, or relaxing before dinner in our restaurant. The mixture of locals and tourists always makes for an enjoyable evening. The hospitality of the highlands is world renowned, so no-one remains a stranger for long. We specialise in selling local REAL ALE and MALT WHISKY.

At the Moorfield we have a simple philosophy –offer exceptional food at reasonable prices in a relaxed and informal restaurant which is also open to the public. (booking required)
