"Comfortable, cozy and homely"
We booked this particular week and hotel due to the season and availability of snowsports in the area. Unfortunately the weather had other ideas and was mild for the time of year. However, this did not affect our stay one bit. We had an excellent week. The hotel and its hospitality was second to none. The owners Grant and Maria couldn't have been more helpful and made our stay a memorable one. We had never been to this area before but left feeling as though it was home. Thank you 😊 Read less

In Scotland, the bar is often at the heart of the community. So it is at the Moorfield House Hotel. Whether you are just dropping in for a quiet drink after an energetic day walking in the hills, or relaxing before dinner in our restaurant. The mixture of locals and tourists always makes for an enjoyable evening. The hospitality of the highlands is world renowned, so no-one remains a stranger for long. We specialise in selling local REAL ALE and MALT WHISKY.
