On arrival we were given a key to our room, the room happened to be occupied already. The staff were very apologetic and offered all of our group a free drink at the bar. The staff were extremely friendly and made up for the fact that the room was not great. The bathroom was mouldy and there was no hand soap or shampoo. We asked the staff for soap and they were very happy to provide us with some. The bed was comfy. The breakfast in the morning was lovely and served by more friendly staff. Read less

Dislikes:
Mouldy and run down bathroom, no soap or shampoo provided as standard.

The hotel has 16 rooms and is conveniently located for the commercial, historical and recreational centres of Bedford. Luton Airport is approx 18 miles and the nearest station is only a third of a mile away. We are only a 10 minute walk away from Bedford town centre.
The Railway Hotel is fully licensed and offers a good selection of beers, wine and spirits. For that special occasion, flowers and champagne can be provided on request.
