The Carpenters Arms is a welcoming kind of place all year round with an open fire ensuring that it has a cosy, friendly feel, whatever the season. Pubs don’t come in settings much better than that of The Carpenters Arms, which overlooks Watership Down, the inspiration for the famous story (by Richard Adams) and film. On one day no breakfast was provided and no refund offered I had to pay an additional cost for a breakfast at another venue. Wifi was available in the pub itself but not in the roo s
Response from The Carpenters Arms:
Thank you for your review , as it helps up to continue to improve our service. I apologize for the lack of breakfast on one day of your stay, unfortunately we opened an hour later due to circumstances out of our hands.

The WiFi is currently in the process of being upgraded and i fully understand the frustration this can cause.

Any further questions or suggestions for improvement please feel free to contact us directly.
