The Royal Oak, a stunning country pub with rooms full of character nestled in the picturesque and historic village of Yattendon, on the Yattendon Estate in Berkshire.
The Royal Oak stays true to the values of a traditional country pub that offers bed & breakfast: delicious home cooked food boasting local produce for all tastes and budgets; beautifully kept real ales from the West Berkshire Brewery in the village; a stunning wine list; four roaring log fires; three private dining rooms; five ensuite bedrooms.
All of our rooms have enormous character with oak beams, and views of either the village square or the walled garden.
The Royal Oak is within easy reach of the M4 – perfect spot for shooting or fishing parties to unwind. It is also ideal for an overnight stay if you’re on a business trip or visiting to the West Country or a pub lunch or dinner before or after a day at the races - The Royal Oak being only 10 minutes from Newbury Racecourse.
