From the booking online, to the personal welcome by the owner, and the first pint of Robinson's bitter, this was my best experience of a truly unique English rural hotel.

"Couple of nights away"
Arrived easily because of accessible location. Friendly welcome. Good sized room. Twin beds joined to make very comfortable king size. Dated but clean decor. Very small tv - and forgot to mention to staff but reception was poor. Basic toiletries. Plenty of hot water. Very good evening meals and breakfasts. Excellent service from staff, attentive and pleasant. Playground for children looked good. Small farm 100metres away interesting (llamas, donkeys, farm shop etc.) Read less
