"Stay was spolit by water issues causing no shower or working toilet problem."
The room was fine with comfy beds. being away from the pub/restaurant was good as there were no nose problems.
the first night the shower did not work and the toilet would not flush. the next morning we were told the supply was from a well and were offered a bucket to flush the loo with. when we returned on the second evening the shower worked for a while and then cut out so my daughter had to wait half an hour before it would work again. The toilet was still not working properly. Read less
Likes:
The staff were pleasant but not very helpful about the water issues as they did not seem to be able to resolve them.
Dislikes:
The problems with the toilet was the worst thing. We had to go into the pub to use the one there while it was open. If we had not been booked onto a course in the town we would have gone home.

The staff made me welcome, check in and out were very easy and professional, then the food, really top class and well presented. The bar was well stocked with a good range of beers, all well kept.
Dislikes:
Only criticism would be the bathroom as I felt it was a little past it's best. The shower head and rail were not really up to much, that said, I did manage to have several showers.

The Setting/views. The food was excellent - too much of it but very nice! Staff very friendly.
Dislikes:
The rooms need modernising. Shower head dodgy, shower curtain not good and urine smell in corner by loo. Cobwebs in room. All a bit dated for the money. Apart from the room needing a bit of tlc, OK.

The quality of the food (absolutely excellent - sirloin steak in particular), beer, wine list and the friendliness of all the staff we met. Could not hope to be treated more nicely and politely.
