Set in quiet Cheshire countryside adjacent to the Parks and Gardens of the historic Cholmondeley Castle, the Cholmondeley Arms has justifiably been consistently voted as one of the countries truly great pubs of the Millennium. The Cholmondeley Arms provides a wide variety of choice, whether starters, main Courses or Desserts; all prepared in our Kitchen using fresh Regional produce.
The Cholmondeley Arms provides a relaxing environment to enjoy any of our 145 gins from around the world, expertly prepared by either Steve the landlord or one of the team or have a pint of our very own house ales such as Cholmondeley best or a selection of fine wines from around the world.

Built in 1862 as a village school it served this purpose to the Cholmondeley tenants until its closure in 1982. However, 6 years later its role changed, still creating a focal point for the Cholmondeley tenants.

The old schoolhouse was converted into a village pub. The pub still maintains many of its original features and creates a charming and characterful place to visit. The pub has been decorated with awards for its continued quality in food, drink and Accommodation.
