Arriving at the Bee at approx 7.30pm after a lengthy days driving, I was greeted by "Ellie" who checked me in and also served behind the bar. Ellie was friendly and welcoming, the bar is far more pub than hotel, the locals and other guests chatted away happily.
After sampling a few beers,I retired to my room.
The room I was in, was a single with ensuite, had a tv and tea/coffee making facility, the bed linen was clean and fresh, the bed itself very comfortable. Read less

clean linen and comfy bed.
Tea & coffee facility.
The price for 1 night stay.
Dislikes:
The Hotel rooms are dated and badly in need of modernisation, the bathroom (ensuite) was not as clean as it could be,with mould around the base of the bath tiles.
Church bells ring every 15mins.

Abergele is a small coastal town on the North Wales coast. Once a Roman trading port, it is now best known for its miles of beautiful white sands.

"Aber" means estuary and "Gele" is the name of the river which runs through the town, hence its name.
Abergele has several sites of historical interest, including two Iron Age hill forts at Castell Cawr. Abergele makes a great base from which to explore the North Wales coast, providing all the charm of a small community. Many of the 10,000 residents are proud of their Welsh ancestry and still speak the Welsh language.

A famous market town, weekly agricultural markets were held until the end of the 20th century. The Bee makes an ideal base for exploring the picturesque scenery of North Wales. We are conveniently located 1 mile from the A55 EXPRESSWAY and less than 1 mile from Pensarn Railway Station The shopping towns of Rhyl,Prestatyn and Llandudno are close by.Several of Wales famous castles are found within 10 miles,Rhuddlan,Conwy and Gwrych to name a few.
