Joni and Mark were superb hosts of this lovely hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room warm and cosy.
Dislikes:
Unfortunately, not being very tall, I found it difficult to reach the wash basin and also could not reach the shampoo etc, in the shower. That, of course, was not the fault of the hotel - just me!

very quiet hotel location, nothing was too much trouble for the proprietors (apart from below) although they were under pressure due to a serious injury to Jo
Dislikes:
we like a slice of lemon with our pre dinner drinks yet they had none-considering there was a shop very close I was disappointed nobody bothered to get some for the whole of our stay

The hotel was welcoming, friendly and clean. This is reflected the town of Llandudno which is a special place, unique among the UK's seaside resorts.

I have stayed at the Clontarf on a number of occasions, mainly for a single night on business, as was this occasion. The welcome from Joni and Mark is consistently warm and friendly and the accomodation faultless. The location is ideal for all amenities, the sea front and the Orme, so a perfect holiday location. Topped off with a great breakfast, what more can one want? Read less

When travelling alone on business, it is good to stay in a hotel which provides a warm, friendly greeting. The Clontarf does just that.

The location on the west shore is peaceful yet handy to climb up the Orme or walk into the bustle of the main town. the breakfast was of excellent quality and the service efficient.
