We were in a good location for the beach and for visiting other villages around. The rooms were warm and clean and had everything you would need for kids. The beach ball,frisbe and water bottle - fab.

I booked in for Friday & Saturday for a short break. The hotel had a 25% off deal, so worked out at 60 including breakfast. I got a good sized room, overlooking the sea, which had a wetroom shower/toilet, TV, and kettle. When booked in, the receptionist showed me to my room and pointed out where the milk was kept if I wanted a cuppa.
For breakfast, there was a good selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, and also a lovely choice of cooked options too. The full English was very tasty indeed! Read less

Read raving reviews so had very high hopes. Location excellent for us visiting friends at the Widemouth Caravan Park and only a short drive into Bude. Staff friendly and helpful, but felt that the room was a big disappointment. The shower had no pressure at all and my hose pipe is more powerful. There was a note on the wall telling us that it might not be as powerful as expected, to be fair what's the point of the note, do something about it. Also, the water was barely warm. Read less

Location, size of room, tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk in communal fridge in corridor. Bath robes is a nice touch, and we had a nice sea view.
Dislikes:
Shower as noted previously, along with a cold room, small inadequate radiator did not heat it sufficiently and went off in the night.Worst thing was all the black mould in the cupboard and up the wall
