The pub seemed to be the centre for village activities. We enjoyed the Tuesday folk evening and the Wednesday evening atmosphere when the place was filled with local activities.

Just us two.Visiting the Cornish coastline at our own pace,In an area we haven't explored before. No agenda. We did just that. The welcome from all was helpful and friendly,There if you needed anything. Everybody was eager to include us including the locals. The staff were professional enough to let us make our stay our own. Lovely food, specially the locally caught (couldn't be more fresh) seafood. My husband (seafood hater) needed more meat options enjoyed the burger though. Read less

Good location. Good beers. Trying hard.
Dislikes:
Room was scheduled for a refurb - pity we were charged same rate as those already done. Menu was slightly overambitious/involved - our fish & chips was not up to expectations.
