Welcome to The Top House Inn, the most southerly Inn on mainland Britain! All our rooms are located in a 3 storey building with its own front door accessed via a pretty patio garden or via the main Inn. Rooms are spacious, comfortably decorated and furnished, with either en-suite bath or shower rooms and complimentary toiletries. Tea/coffee-making facilities are available and each room has a TV and Freeview box, with free Wi-Fi available for guests to use. Some rooms have delightful sea views.

The Top House Inn is full of character and local history, retaining all the charm of its roots as a traditional rural Cornish Inn. Located in the heart of The Lizard village the Inn offers a warm atmosphere from us, James and Donna Glosby, and our enthusiastic team of staff who share our passion for great customer service and for providing a friendly environment for our locals and visitors.
Whilst the main Inn is traditional in character the rooms are contemporary and furnished in a style taking influence from the surrounding coastline. The upper floors (the accommodation is a three storey building attached to the back of the Inn) offer some of the most spectacular far reaching views over the surrounding coastline – from the top floor these views can be seen from your bed! We want guests to feel their room is a real home from home and so our beds are comfortable with quality mattresses, there is a TV with freeview, we also supply tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits in your room. In your ensuite bathroom you will find complimentary toiletries provided. A hairdryer is provided in each room.
The Lizard is one of the most beautiful coastal settings in Cornwall and being so close to the coastal path there are lots of lovely walks close by. The Lizard village sees visitors to the area all year round, in particular the summer months are very busy! During the colder months our roaring log fire is a much welcome sight and the Inn is a cosy place to settle down for a drink or a meal.
We offer an extensive Menu and are gaining a reputation for offering great food with interesting dishes freshly prepared from the best local produce wherever possible. We have daily specials on our blackboard and during the summer regularly have fresh fish and lobster available. We have a comprehensive Wine List and Award Winning Real Ales kept to Cask Marque standards.
The Top House Inn is simply a great place to eat, drink or stay!
