Shocked by lack of hot water , so I checked. It does get hot eventually , but after very unreasonable time. When there is no one else in that part of hotel , I think it has to empty all the pipework from boiler before it gets through. Not sure if there is any solution , but will take advice (it also wastes a lot of water , which I am busy saving elsewhere). At least now I can inform future guests. Thanks for letting me know!

Dislikes:
The window wouldnt shut properly,shower only went boiling hot or very cold and there was dust everywhere but most of all the bed was very uncomfortable and hurt our backs.

The Longbeach Hotel overlooks Fistral Beach and offers Room Only , Self-catering or Bed and breakfast accommodation (Breakfast must be booked in advance , please). Check the surf from your window, then after a busy day on Fistral Beach, chill with a quiet drink on our sunset patio or in the bar before hitting the Town for a night to remember. Our bedrooms are modern double, twin, triple and group and are all fully equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and digital TV/DVD players, most with iPod docks. All rooms have spectacular sea views and most are en-suite.

At the Longbeach Hotel , we like to boast that our location is one of the best in Newquay. Only a footpath separates us from the golf course and Fistral Beach , yet we are just a few minutes walk from the pubs and clubs of the town centre . The environment is the reason for the existence of the business , and everyone staying or working in the hotel is constantly aware of it.
We are constantly working to reduce our environmental footprint , and encourage our guests to do the same.
