I booked 2 double rooms online through eviivo and received confirmation for both. However, when I turned up - neither were registered as booked and one became double booked. The manager very kindly found a spare fold out bed and offered his own bedroom to accommodate us. This is not the first time this has happened apparently. Read less

Very friendly locals and staff. Great food. Nice old pub full of character and surrounded by picturesque scenery.
Dislikes:

The Engine Inn is ideally situated for visitors to West Cornwall. Just 2.5 miles from St Ives and the Tate Modern and 4.5 miles to Penzance, close to the wonderful coast leading to Lands End overlooking stunning views of moorland with amazing sunsets. A perfect base for discovering West Cornwall.


Enjoy sitting on our sunny garden patio drinking in the panoramic hillside views whilst sampling our award winning food and sipping traditional cornish cask ales.

Our marquee is available for hire in our adjoining paddock or on our patio - ideal for weddings, birthdays, celebrations.

A large private car park for 50 plus cars.

Every Monday:Charity fun quiz from 8.30pm.
Tuesday:Acoustic night from 7.30pm - all welcome.
The last Friday of every month: 'Open Mic' night - bring your own voice/instrument for a fantastic evening.
