Room was clean and good. The beds were just right for us both (hard). Able to handle coeliac foods with no problem. Both evening food and breakfast excellent. Staff and owners helpful and friendly.

I had to question if the bed linen had been changed from the previous guest as the bed linen was badly wrinkled. There was a write up about the 3 times cooked chips how good they were - not so.
Response from The Trevelyan Arms:
Kevin,
Thanks for leaving a review. You did not mention either of these 'issues' to us during your stay.
We can assure you that your bed linen was freshly laundered. If a few wrinkles were all that you could find to complain about in the room then I feel we did a great job.
The chips - yes we had a published review which mentioned our chips, and we continue to receive compliments about the chips (and other food) on an almost daily basis. We're sorry that you do not appreciate good chips.

Situated just 1/2 mile inland from the Cornish coastal path, we are within walking distance of Mount's Bay and the iconic National Trust property, St Michael's Mount.
Lands End is 20 minutes by car and both south and north coasts are easily accessible.

If bird watching is a hobby then the marshes at Marazion and the estuary at Hayle are both about a ten minute drive. Cyclists travelling between Land's End and John O' Groats are very welcome, there is safe undercover parking for bikes.

We stock a wide range of lagers, ciders and rotating real ales typically including Speckled Hen and St Austell Tribute as well as a good selection of wines and soft drinks. We offer wholesome freshly cooked food in our lounge seven nights a week, all year round, using fresh and locally sourced produce offering you great value for money.

Children are always welcome at any time in either the public bar or the lounge.

We are pet friendly with one resident Yorkshire Terrier named Charlie.
