The location was excellent, the staff were very helpful and accommodating. Despite being at the back of the hotel the view of the hills was lovely.
Dislikes:
The decor was perhaps a little 'tired' however value for money was very good. There was a late bar/club just beneath our window however was surprised that it wasn't too noisy

member of staff (paul) very rude and unhelpful, had a problem with lock on door - he was on his mobile and told us to wait then eventually told us we had been swapping keys and messing with our door!

It was freezing outside & even with the radiator turned fully off it was far too hot to sleep in the room. I dread to think what it would be like in summer. Plus The windows were rotting & jammed shut. They room also stunk of damp. A room you can't sleep in is no good to anyone (room 205) Read less

Room was as hot as a sauna (no exaggeration). Smelled of damp (like old people smell). Windows didn't open due to rotting/jammed frames. General state of room was run down. Room next to lift so noisy.
