Our stay was for 2 nights on B&B rates after visiting our son in Scotland. We used the Shoe & Boot as our base for excursions in the area plus it's only 6 miles off the M6 and easy to get to.We also had our evening meals there which were of an excellent quality and value. The Real Ale(Black Sheep) was also very good and the live music added to a great party atmosphere. The nice and friendly atmosphere. The traditional English pub atmosphere was just perfect. The staff was both very much professional and friendly at the same time.
