Greystoke, a village on the outskirts of the Lake District National Park, retains its village green with its ancient market cross that dates back at least to the early 1600's.Clustered around the green 17th century stone houses and cottages are decorated with slate roofs and cobbled forecourts. A school dates to 1838.
How to Find Us
Junction 40 M6(approx 5 miles)
From junction 40 M6 take A66 West to Keswick. After 1st Roundabout at Rheged continue on A66 for approx half mile turn right across dual carriage way. Continue through Newbiggin for one and a half miles to T Junction turn left on B 5288 and continue for one and half miles into Greystoke. You will find The Boot & Shoe Inn in the centre of the village.
