Excellent food in a very friendly atmosphere. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We have two dogs and they were welcome, which made for an easy stay, and the location has good walks.

Chose Cross Keys for location & late check in acceptable. Arrived late evening after a long journey. Shown to a "quirky" room with sloping floors in main building with bath only (landlord did apologise). Definitely needs a bit of TLC! Nightcap in cosy lounge bar. Slept well. Enjoyed breakfast. Prepaid so easy checkout. Overall - good value. Read less

Dislikes:
The breakfast was very disapointing .
Response from Cross Keys Inn:
We only had two staff working that night and although you thought we were not busy we were actually very busy, as two coach loads of Rugby fans turned up.. I honestly don't know how a cooked breakfast can be disappointing all food is cooked fresh to order, including breakfast...
