We were unable to have breakfast the first morning because of an early start so we were provided with bacon ssandwhiches to take with us, this was much appreciated!

The Britannia Inn is warm and inviting. If your looking to get away for a few nights then it doesn't get much better. The location, food, staff are all amazing. Already booked to go again.

the position is good,well placed for walking and a decent view of the dee valley.
Dislikes:
toiletries are basic,they could be enhanced.

Dislikes:
Not really a dislike, but the bar closed fairly early each evening. I would like to have availed of it for longer.

Stayed over night on our way back home from a great weekend at Plas Y Brenin. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Booked on line and mentioned that we were vegan so wouldn't need a Full English breakfast but were served up a feast of fruit salad, Porridge (made with soya milk) and toast!
We chose this hotel mainly on the strength of its location, nice looking rooms and er the Theakstons Old Peculiar, which on the night we stayed was most unfortunately unavailable!! Good excuse to go back! Read less

Friendlyness and service, location and (on a normal night I'm sure) the Old Peculiar!
Dislikes:
Old Peculiar being off, no bar snacks, e.g. Crisps and Nuts. Bit quiet in the bar on the night we stayed, a Sunday.
