Nice & clean room with a good friendly pub feel. Good breakfast with very polite staff.
Dislikes:
The main down side for me was that I like having a shower but had to have a bath because their was not enough water pressure for a shower. (I had read the same comment from another reviewer)

Staff are great (Richard in particular) and evenings were very relaxed in the bar chatting to the locals and staff. Rooms are lovely but bathrooms need to be re-furbished. Bathrooms need to be completely re-vamped.Description of the rooms are luxury and whilst they have tried with the bathroom, they need to install a shower thats easy to control the temperature.

The room was very clean, a good size,had plenty of storage,good quality furnishings and nice decor.
Dislikes:

The Waltzing Weasel now with new owners since January 2010 has gone through a massive refurbishment . The accommodation is a traditional quintessential English Inn. The Inn dates back nearly 400 years and is ideally located in the walking country of the High Peak in the Peak District. Situated along side of the Sett Valley Trail, views of Kinder Scout and surrounding hills and moors can be enjoyed. The Waltzing Weasel makes an ideal venue for visitors, walkers or stressed business people who want to chill and be pampered.
Guests can relax in one of the eight luxurious bedrooms with en suite. The Grande bedroom (Room 6) has a beautiful 300-year-old Jacobean half tester bed and leather settee for that added comfort. All rooms and public areas have free WiFi access.
The bar offers a relaxing area to drink or dine in front of its open log fire, serving excellent champagne and wines at affordable prices. Also available cask ales for the Good Beer drinkers.
The Waltzing Weasel’s restaurant provides quality dining and excellent wines and through its mullioned windows, offers dramatic views of Kinder Scout. There is a courtyard and a pleasant garden where you can enjoy a drink or Al Fresco dining.
The Waltzing Weasel's aim is to provide a civilised retreat for those looking for a welcome break. We are located only forty minutes away from Manchester and its international airport, and are in easy reach of Sheffield, Stockport, Buxton and Glossop.
