Likes:
Nice room good price great walking round about. V helpful staff.
Dislikes:
Wd prefer more flexibility around breakfast timing - 1 sitting at 8.30 only is a bit restrictive.

Likes:
Size and cleanliness of room. Excellent quality of food and beer. Ability to take our dog away with us. Location in the Peak District, perfect for walking and exploring. Friendliness of staff.
Dislikes:
Mattress on four poster bed did feel as though it was not supportive enough at the edges, so felt like we would roll out. But tired from walking,we had good nights sleep,we just huddled in the middle!
Response from Bulls Head Inn:

The inn has flagstone floors, roaring open fires and an inglenook fireplace in the oak panelled dining room. A very warm welcome is extended to all - casual passers-by, walkers and their dogs, and visitors to the Peak District.
In the bar you will find traditional cask beers, and a good selection of malt whiskys and wines from around the world to suit all tastes. We offer a large choice of bar meals, but you may prefer to linger a while and take advantage of our oak panelled, candle-lit restaurant which offers an interesting and comprehensive menu.
We offer dishes from the regular menu such as minted lamb casserole and plaice with mushroom sauce, plus "specials" such as roast sea bass with fennel, and wild boar steak with orange game sauce.
Our three superb en-suite bedrooms offer comfortable and private accommodation with a personal access and small sitting area. In addition to one twin/double and one double room we can offer a large family room which can sleep up to four and which boasts a superb 4-Poster bed.
Come and enjoy the quiet luxury of a night in a country inn, a first class restaurant downstairs and the tranquil beauty of the village through which to stroll.
