we wanted a traditional country inn to celebrate a birthday The Jug and Glass exceeded our expectations. Evening meal-there was a good choice of food, cask ales and a friendly atmosphere nothing was rushed. Bedrooms were excellent, clean and well appointed Breakfast was served to each persons liking with lots of choice-fresh juice and fruit included
The staff were helpful nothing was too much trouble for them.

Real ale plays an important role in any good country Inn and the Jug and Glass is no exception. There are regular ales on draught, along with additional guest ales, but if that is not your tipple of choice, we also offer wide selection of wines, ciders, soft drinks and spirits, including our scotch corner.

The Jug and Glass boasts a separate restaurant and is the perfect place to enjoy a range of classic grills and inspired home-made dishes. The chef has many years experience and brings his skill and passion to the menu, which ensures you will never leave hungry. Offering a full menu 7 days a week.

The Jug and Glass Inn has a large car park and is a suitable venue to host groups in the restaurant or in one of the three bar areas. Free Wi-Fi is available within the public areas.
