"Poor overall experience, don't recommend to others"
By far the worst B&B my wife and I stayed at during our 4 night break around Devon and Cornwall. The room was at the back of the beer garden, it was charmless, the TV in the room was not working, the Internet signal was low to zero in the room. Upon check out, we mentioned this to the personnel but the person at the bar did not seem to care much. Don't recommend to others Read less

Response from The Village Inn:
The room occupied by this couple is not 'at the back of the beer garden' it is accessed off the rear patio garden and not as suggested. When we checked the television was working perfectlty. If as hinted their check out was not warmly received it may have been down to the fact that they asked to borrow two wine glasses and then proceeded to drink their own wine, not purchased fronm ourselves, in the bar area!!!!!
I would not recommend this couple as guests to other B & B businesses.
