Likes:
The beautiful estuary of the River Taw, The Northern Burrows Country Park and our walks to Appledore and Instow.
Dislikes:
The poor state of the bathroom of Room 1:Shower doesn´t work properly,no warm water at the wash basin. Both owner and stuff by their rude and unfriendly behaviour give you the feeling you are unwelcome
Response from The Village Inn:
As seen on previous reviews our rooms are spacious and well appointed receiving 4stars with Visit Britain. This rating is achieved by not only the quality of the accommodation but also the efficiency, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. One morning during the irgang stay the boiler failed to light, this was soon sorted and hot water was available after a short period of time. We take all comments seriously but on this occasion we felt a response was justified.
