I stayed in a single room, together with my Welsh springer Murphy. Small but cosy with a comfortable chair. At breakfast we both got spoiled, sitting in the early sunshine after a fresh morning walk - lovely area. I would like to stay longer, next time. Well worth the money. Read less

"What a country pub B and B should be"
It really was about somewhere to sleep for a couple of nights and I was concerned in choosing a pub over a Saturday night there might be loud music. There wasn't, it was a traditional pub, great friendly service without a fuss. Good clean if toward basic facilities, but I wasn't looking for the Ritz or expecting it!
The bed comfortable, very important. The morning bird song a delight to my senses. The peace and quiet of the location and the atmosphere in the building itself was very welcoming. Read less
Likes:
I liked the authenticity of the place and the landlord and his team AAA+ I spent years in the hospitality industry so I know what I'm talking about. This is a gem of a place.
Dislikes:
I stayed in the single room 1 and the noise from the kitchen extractor bothered me a little, but it wasn't too intrusive and got turned off about 9 pm anyway.
