Our family of 4 had a 3 night break at the Elmfield over the Easter holidays. We didn't want to leave! The children fell in love with the hotel and its steep, sunny terraced garden immediately, and needed coaxing even to go out for a walk. My husband and I were grateful for the friendly and expert welcome from Zoe and Mark, with lots of excellent advice on countryside walks and good nearby restaurants. I stayed here with a couple of colleagues and found it to be a fantastic little place. Didn't use the pool so can't comment on the facilities too much, but my room (2 and 1/2 - odd I know) was very large and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic and was a special request. The staff were very accommodating despite being a small team and seaming a bit run off their feet.
The honesty bar down stairs was a nice touch. It was very peaceful – great nights sleep.
