Dislikes:
The restaurant was closed so there was nowhere to eat in the evening other than go out (but we didn't have a car and it was very cold and wet). In the end the owner offered to drive us to a local pub.

For example, this is a perfect venue for a wedding. At Lavender House, we pride ourselves on offering a relaxed and exclusive venue for your special occasion. You can be assured that the only guests within the hotel and grounds are your guests, enjoying your special day. Our cherished 1951 Rolls Royce can be available for hire, and you can take advantage of the beautiful natural surroundings and enhance your special day by way of our garden ceremony. You can have your ceremony conducted in our Gazebo, enjoying panoramic views of picturesque Dartmoor
