We spent 3 nights at the Invicta and spent the days wondering around in Plymouth and vicinity of Plymouth, as tourists. One day we took the bus to Tavistock and another day we took the cremwell ferry to mount edgmore and the deer park etc in Cornwall. The Invicta was situated in a beautiful spot with everything of interest (in our point of view) within short walking distance. Hotel service was great, they found both the bus and the ferry for us, booked dinner res. for us, fixed taxis etc Read less

Beautiful hotel with character and history in a lovely city. Beautiful surroundings. We could ask the Invicta people anything at any time and they were always extremely helpful and kind.

Centrally located to all amenities the city centre and the historic Barbican with its Edwardian, winding narrow lanes are but 2-3 minutes walk. For those of you travelling to France or Spain the Brittany ferry port is 2 minutes by car. Recently refurbished, the hotel accommodation offers twenty-three fully en-suite rooms comprising of single, double, twin and family rooms with executive rooms located on the first floor. Each room includes tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, colour television and radio, direct dial telephone and BT Broadband internet access.
