We spent three nights at Blackberries, combining a short holiday with a friend's wedding nearby. The owners were friendly, the rooms were spotlessly clean, the towels were plentiful (important when you have a 17 months old with you who likes to splash in the bath) and we had a very enjoyable stay. Our meal in the restaurant on the first night was very nice and they catered well for our little one. Breakfast was lovely every day, with a good range of hot and cold choices. Read less

Blackberries is located in the picturesque and thriving village of Bampton in mid-Devon, on the edge of the Exmoor National Park. The village is known for its success over many years in the South West in Bloom competition, and Blackberries is an active contributor to the attractive floral look of the area.
Our restaurant menu is very extensive, and prices are very reasonable - a Sunday roast lunch consists of three courses for just £11.95 or you can choose your individual courses from the menu. A full range of drinks is available from the bar.
Blackberries has five bedrooms, made up of 2 family rooms, 2 double rooms, and 1 twin-bedded room. All have ensuite facilities, tea and coffee making, hair dryers and colour TVs.
We are a family-run establishment, and we pride ourselves on our personal service to ensure that you enjoy your stay with us.
