Free upgrade was very nice.
Dislikes:
Although at top of house even with secondary double glazing you could hear mornining traffic.
However we would be quite happy to stay again though.

Arriving on the Saturday, we had pre-booked tickets from the Princess Theatre to see a comedian. Although this was the prime reason for booking a week at the hotel, we also felt we needed to unwind from the daily grind at home. Torquay proved to be an ideal place to do just that. In March especially, the mood of the town is relaxed, and there is so much to do and see we will be returning again to visit the places we could not fit in this time, such as Torre Abbey, which is being refurbished. Clean rooms, no restrictions on when one could access the hotel, full key service. Very tolerant attitude by the owners to a bout of flu suffered! I was very grateful for this courtesy shown to me.
Dislikes:
The illness suffered by me from Sunday to Tuesday, which disrupted the holiday somewhat. This is not the fault of the hotel, in fact they were very understanding, and made me comfortable throughout.

Hotel Peppers is the first Hotel in Babbacombe Road as you leave the Harbour, just 250 metres from the waters edge. We are a 10 en suite bedroom Edwardian family run hotel. Recently refurbished to a high quality modern standard, but still retaining it's original elegant features.
Peppers is close to all of Torquays Restaurtants, Bars and pavement cafes and just 3 minutes walk from the town centre with its many retail outlets and array of coffee shops, with only a 5 minute walk to the Princess Theatre located at the edge of the marina. At Peppers you can expect a very friendly personal service with a excellent full English breakfast.
Also you can relax and enjoy a cool drink on our sun terrace from the bar, just park your car in our on site car park or if its full park in our overflow car park free of charge. From Peppers you can visit all of Torquays attractions on foot, coastal paths are on our doorstep as are boat trips to Brixham and Paignton if you fancy a trip out.
Peppers can also cater to all your business needs including free WiFi.
