The Royal Oak Hotel came as a very pleasant surprise. The room was clean, bright and well positioned. The food at both the evening and breakfast meals was excellent. The menu was well thought out and the food was well cooked and presented. Although the restaurant was full the both nights we eat in we found the service fast and efficient. Read less

"Thoroughly Enjoyable Short Break."
Me and my partner stayed here for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We really felt like they enjoyed having us which is nice. Pub has perfectly combined modern touches whilst keeping the original character. Food is lovely, would recomment eating there. Rooms are beautiful, so much space and everything was very clean and tidy. Bed was very comfy and whole place was very quiet at night meaning a good nights sleep was had! Perfect! Read less
