Likes:
A good selection at breakfast which was nicely cooked.
Dislikes:
Unaware that a live band was playing that evening in the bar below till 11-00pm which was an excessive noise problem in the room till then. Minor problems with TV remote, bedside lamp and kettle base.

The Sheaf of Arrows is situated in the pretty country village of Cranborne. The village dates from Saxon times and was recorded in the Doomsday Book 1086.
The village is home to the Cranborne Estate one of the residence of the Marques of Salisbury. It is close to Cranborne Chase, an area known for its many beautiful walks; tourist attractions nearby include the Dorset Heavy Horse Centre and Edmondson House and Garden. We are often visited for lunch by groups of walkers and cyclists looking for a tasty lunch.

We have a lively clientele with darts on a Monday evening, a skittles alley and live music once a month or so. We also celebrate Valentines Day, Mothering Sunday and Fathers Day so look out for our special occasion events and menus.

We have four letting rooms; 2 doubles, a single room and a family room that sleeps four. All stays include breakfast, whether you prefer a continental or a full cooked breakfast to get you through the day. Fancy something off menu? if our Chef has it in stock, he will be happy to cook it for you.

Our kitchens are open from 11am til 9pm. If you wish to order between 2pm and 6pm we can offer homemade soup, and sandwiches made to order.
We have a well varied menu catering for all including a senior citizen special for the smaller appetite and a children's selection.
Wednesday night is a favourite here - Chefs Pie and a pint night. We always have a selection of 2 or 3 pies to choose from and if beer is not for you, try a glass of wine.
Saturday night is Steak night with all the trimmings and cooked just as you like it.
And Sunday? well it has to be a Carvery; a choice of meats with all the accompaniments and a pudding if you have room!

They say the way to a mans heart is through his stomach; well we want everyone to be happy with our food! Its what we are known for
