The room was lovely, the shower powerful, the hotel clean, the staff friendly, food lovely, spa excellent and the location amazing. Couldn't complain about anything!!!
Dislikes:
The biggest thing we could find to complain about was the fact that there was no hair conditioner in the bathroom!!!

The staff were extremely helpful in all areas.
We enjoyed our dinner in The Cliff restuarant and felt
the quality and value of food was good
Dislikes:
We felt the outside areas were bleak and still resembled a military base.
We were also disappointed with the sps area and changing rooms and felt it resembled a Leisure centre and not a luxury spa.

Just a stone’s throw away from the hotel is the spectacular Portland harbour, one of the largest man-made harbours in the world which will be used for the 2012 Olympic Games.
Free WiFi is available throughout all public areas and each room offers Digital TV, free internet access, air conditioning, heating and modern bathrooms, each with it’s own bath and shower.
We have a TV lounge bar for guests to sit back and relax and take in the amazing views of the coast for as far as the eye can see.
All rooms and public areas are wheelchair friendly with fully adapted disabled rooms available.
The Venue offers 120 seat multi-functional conference rooms, all fitted out with a full range of AV equipment for exhibitions, seminars and training events. We also have a 250 seat presentation theatre on site ideal for symposiums which is equipped as an entertainment auditorium for small stage shows.
We have a 300 seat ballroom which can cater for private parties and weddings. Under new management, The Venue’s catering staff have years of experience between them, our innovative team of chefs pride themselves on being real foodies with a huge interest in fresh, locally sourced food and bespoke menu design.
The adjacent Ocean Spa includes a gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room and is available to all our guests at a concessionary rate. The Spa also has a range of luxury treatments to help soothe away the stresses and reap the benefits of taking some time out.
Free on-site parking is included for all guests and a negotiated fixed Taxi rate is available for those wishing to venture out into Weymouth. The local bus service operates every ten minutes during the day with late buses in the evening.
