"Lost opportunity"
2-night stay to allow us to attend a family funeral. Good location on seafront that unfortunately wasn't matched by our experience within the hotel. Although there was no single disastrous thing, the accumulation of a number of lesser, avoidable things meant that the overall experience (including the checking in and checking out) was less than positive - to the extent that we ended up laughing about it. (Even one of the staff mentioned that it was a bit like Fawlty Towers!) Read less
Likes:
Location of hotel and view from room which took in the sea, hills and golf course. Room was spacious and bed clean and comfortable.
Dislikes:
Room booking had apparently 'got lost' (even though we'd already paid half of cost as a deposit). En-suite had not been properly cleaned after previous occupants.
