"Relaxing, friendly, hidden gem"
Looking for an unspoilt hidden gem by the sea, we found it at the Crown in Portpatrick. This little town reminded us so much of a Cornish fishing village, but without the price tag! We had a reasonably priced sea view room right on the harbour front, with the call of gulls coming through the window. The loft room was fine, huge ensuite and great shower. We didn't mind climbing a few stairs to get that view. We had dinner in the bar, and the seafood was second to none. Read less
