"Could be great... but falls short these days"
Just a one night stay but slightly disappointed. The location is great but things have gone downhill since last visit in 2014. Asked for a twin room but got a double that had to be turned into a twin by us separating the beds and searching out extra bedding. Room was spacious but very noisy since it was next to the outdoor smoking area and the main entrance to the hotel. Wanted to try out the restaurant for dinner but were told it was full and no effort was made to find us a table at any point Read less
Likes:
Staff generally friendly and helpful and the bar next to the restaurant is very characterful.
Dislikes:
Breakfast service was slow and plates, glasses and cutlery were dirty and needed replacing - several times! Same thing at the next table over to us which is rather offputting and poor value.
