Lots of old world charm. Great reception area for meeting up with friends with large open fire.Room good with very good ensuite. Evening meal in Stables style restaurant excellent. Breakfast superb.

Beamish Hall is a stunning hotel set within 24 acres of beautiful parkland and magnificent Durham countryside. Privately owned since 2004 Beamish Hall has a friendly welcoming team to make your stay extra special.
Built in 1268 Beamish Hall has been occupied by a number of local aristocrats from the Monboucher family to the Shafto’s until 1949. Following years of standing empty, the Hall has been sympathetically restored to a grand hotel, which reflects the grandeur and character of a 13th century house.
Beamish Hall is now a magnificent Country House Hotel, with 36 bedrooms, plus a luxurious apartment, each room furnished with antique furnishings sourced by our owner from around the world.
The Hall is perfect for all occasions, such as: weddings, private parties and corporate events and can host parties of 8 guests in our elegant State room and up to 400 guests in our magnificent Winter Garden. The Stables Bar and Restaurant are the most exciting dining and drinking experience in the North East. The Stables serve eight hand pulled cask ales, all brewed on the premises.

Experience the ultimate adrenaline rush high in the tree tops on our High Wire Ropes Course, exhilarating and intense.
