The staff. The warmth and friendliness. The food and drink. The quality of the rooms. The conservatory dining room and Stables Bar. The building itself - it’s listed for a reason.
Dislikes:
The only downside is it’s not entirely handy for Glasgow, and if you want a spa weekend you need to look elsewhere. But for a cosy break in good company it can’t be beaten.
